Job Summary
- Candidates interested in being considered for new SMSI opportunities developing in Los Alamos, NM and Aiken, SC are encouraged to complete our application for future use.
- Needs are being identified through the Merrick-SMSI joint venture subcontracts with Triad; the LANL M&O contractor, and contracts with Savannah River Site.
- SMSI, LLC is anticipating needs for personnel at all levels; from entry level, mid-level, to highly experienced.
- Our task orders in support of program and mission planning, assessments, process, improvements, support to capital projects, project management, and Small Business Programs will require engineers, managers, technical writers, administrators, and other professionals.
- Priority will be given to personnel with prior LANL or SRS experience and active DOD or DOE Security clearances.
Required Skills/ Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must have basic understanding of capital construction projects (i.e., understand role of contractor, designer, owner at the basic level).
- Capability with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Capable of operating and learning database document control system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with clients, contractors, and consultant on a day-to-day basis.
- Self-starter with ability to work with limited oversight.
Education
- College degree preferred for most roles.
Candidates must possess:
- US Citizenship
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and background check.
- Education and prior experience requirements will depend on position.
