The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing business processes in support of Portfolio Management. The position requires individual knowledgeable in all aspects of business consultancy, process design and development, reporting, training, and project management. This position is primarily responsible for documenting and communicating changes in the organization and/or department’s policies and procedures changes to internal and external clients; executing key initiatives in the Asset Management department; development of effective training and communication materials, and serving as the primary support person for users during training and implementation phase.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Document and monitor business processes, reporting protocols, training procedures and standard operating procedures to institutionalize the core Asset Management functions. Develop, update and maintain all operational and policy manuals and create written procedures to document new and existing operational procedures as directed by Vice President or Chief Operating Officer. Design and develop methods and materials for training, documents and manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials to communicate changes in policies, procedures and tools to developments partners. Develop implementation schedule and mange through to completion. Conduct ongoing training for internal Asset Management staff and AHA’s development partners and their management agents. Responsible for user set-up and document design. Manage on-line updates, documentation, version control and obsolescence of materials on the Asset Management Portal. Act as Asset Management’s lead representative on cross-functional, cross-departmental project teams to assess, document and implement agency-wide changes in policies and procedures. Assist Business Operations Director and Policy Research Director on special projects, as directed.
Requirements
BS/BA degree required in Business Administration, Management or Instructional Design. Masters degree or professional certification in related field preferred. 5+ years consulting, training/ instructional design, business analysis or business implementation experience; Candidates must submit work samples in order to be considered for this position. Previous experience implementing new solutions end to end, including planning, training, execution and transition. Proven ability to quickly grasp new concepts, plan work and execute projects in as fast paced environment; Aptitude for understanding the business and technical specifics of different industries and disciplines. Expert level experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Visio, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar software packages.Strong oral, written and public speaking and presentation skills. Strong project management, organization and follow-up skills
